Asking for help is a sign of strength.

If you need to reach out for help, Whirlwind are just one of the organisations that are here to offer support.
The helplines below are open 24/7 with people who are able to provide support when you need it.

Speak to someone you trust

Call a family member of friend who you know you can trust. Someone you can talk to openly about how you’re feeling.

Someone who is going to listen and give you honest feedback.

Find a therapist in your area

When you feel like you need to ask for help, the best thing to do is speak to someone who is professionally trained to help.

Use your local phone book or do a Google search for ‘therapist near here‘ or ‘counsellor near here‘.

Join the private Whirlwind Facebook group

In addition to our public Facebook page, Whirlwind also runs a closed, private group which is available for any man to join.

This ‘secret’ group will not show up in Facebook searches and is entirely restricted to approved members.

The group serves as our place to unload, share, inspire and empathise.

Our only rules are that you must be “bullshit free” in your communication and conduct yourself in a supportive, empathetic manner.

To join other like minded Whirlwinders in our private Facebook group, send us a message via our public Facebook page.
