“The real problem is in the hearts and minds of men”- “it is ok to ask for help” 

I am a 46 yr old of maori descent and of course am proud to be maori except for the fact that we top a couple of statistics in society that are not good – those being domestic violence and imprisonment for violent crimes.

For 40yrs i added to this stat after going through hard childhood and adolesent years i became a very angry young man who used emotional and physical abuse to get by in life, unfortunately for the ones i loved the most, my partners and children, they wore the brunt of it .

My message is simple – life is to short to go thru most of it being angry and hurting people please ask for help while u stil have your life before you and if you havent asked up to now its never to late to make a change.
